December 2009
December has been a very busy month for us. It started with Nov. 30th we closed on our new house. We love it. We can't wait to do all the decorating. Most of the month we have spent moving. We did go to Tallahassee for a couple days around Christmas. I will post Christmas photos later. And I did get to meet my new niece, Morgan.

What We Have Been Doing
The past couple of weekends have been nice. Last weekend we took Gabby to get her photo made in her Halloween costume. She was the cutest potbelly crayon you have ever seen. Then on Sunday we met up with our old neighbors that were in town for the weekend. This past weekend was Halloween. It was so cold and rainy that we didn't get to go trick-or-treating. We did go to the festival they had at church, but Gabby didn't wear here costume. Other than that we haven't been up to much. And of coarse I haven't taken many photos. Attached are a few photos. Gabby has decided she likes walking around in my shoes. You will see one of the pictures she is walking in my heals. Then I thought I would post the picture of her wearing my wig. We dressed up for something at work and she just had to try the wig on. She thought it was so funny. She just laughed and laughed at herself.

What a Fun Weekend
Well a lot has happened this week.
1. On Monday, we took Gabby for her 18 month checkup. She weighs 27lbs. and is 34 in. tall.
2.On Tuesday, we put a bid on a new house. We were in some what of a bid out, but on Thursday we found out we won. We are very excited about our new place. We are scheduled to close on Nov. 13th. What a great birthday present for me.
3.On Friday, Brent and I had a date night. We only went out to eat. It was so nice to have an adult only dinner.
4. Saturday, we took Gabby to the pumpkin patch. You can see in one of the pictures she is practicing her "Say Cheese" smile and in another she is trying to pick up a pumpkin. She figured if mommy could pick it up, than so could she.
5. On Sunday morning before church we let her wear her new house slippers. She thought she was soooo cool.

Gabby's Pet
Well everyone Gabby has a pet. It is our Rumba. Everyday when she leaves she has to say bye bye to Geeves. That is what we named him. The best part about it is, it is like Gabby has a new pet. But he cleans instead of makes a mess. We loves having Geeves as a pet.

Singing
Gabby has recently decided she knows how to sing. Check her out she sounds like she is rapping. Her parents did go to Rickards!
Labor Day Weekend
This weekend we mostly just hung around the house. We did go to the pet store and the park.
I have attached a few photos of Gabby. #Gabby trying to go rock climbing like the other big kids, #2 Gabby on the slide, #3 Gabby and Daddy at the park, #4 Gabby watching Daddy to the lawn. She always sits on this stool when he is out there. #5 Gabby had her toes painted for the first time. She thinks she is hot stuff. #6 Gabby eating dinner, the girl loves to eat.

A Trip Home
This weekend we went to Tallahassee for a quick trip. We got there late Friday night and left around lunch time on Sunday. We were able to see most of the family. We hope next time to see the others and some of our friends. Brent was able to play some golf and I got a pedicure. Gabby went to the park and just entertained everyone all weekend. Of coarse I didn't get many pictures. But here are the few that I did get.

A Spontanious Weekend
This past Friday evening Brent and I decided to do something spontaneous. We decided to go to Lake Lanier Islands Resort for the weekend. It was so nice. We went over on Saturday. We started out with their waterpark and beach. Gabby loved playing in all the water activities. Later we all took a well needed nap and woke up to go for a Seafood Buffet at the resort for dinner. That night we took a nature walk which was alot of fun. Gabby found a couple different types of leaves and a pine cone. The next morning we ate at their breakfast buffet and then headed back to the waterpark. This time we only stayed for about an hour because we were all exhausted. I did get my camera back from being repaired but I left the memory card at home. I have attached a few photos from the resort website. When we returned home we all took a long nap and when we woke up we had to get ready for the week.

Grandma Cindy Comes for a Visit
This weekend Gabby's grandma Cindy (Brent's mom) came to visit. We had a really good time. We ate lots of food, went swimming, played bubbles and did glow sticks that night. Cindy brought Gabby some honeydew........and boy does Gabby love it. That was her first time trying it. My camera is being fixed so I wasn't able to get any photos. I will be sure to take lots next time.

A Milestone Weekend
Well let me start with saying Gabby has finally gotten two more of her bottom teeth and one more tooth on top. She is going to have a full mouth of teeth before we know it.
The biggest news this weekend is... we bought Gabby a potty on Saturday morning. And on Saturday night after bath time we sat her on it. And she actually went poop in the potty! We are so proud of our big girl.
Most of the weekend we just hung around the house. We washed our cars and had lots of help. Gabby feels the need to copy everything we do. So, I got a picture of Gabby and Daddy washing the car.
Thought I would post a photo of Gabby eating her first Georgia Peach.

Gabby Loves Dancing
Gabby really loves to dance. We keep trying to catch her on video but haven't had much luck. Attached is the best video we could get of her. It is too funny! It is much better in person though.
Enjoy our little dancer with great rhythm.
She also enjoys eating, a lot. Here are a few photos of her pigging out!

What a Great 4th of July
This weekend Pappa and Granna came in town. They were here from Thursday to Sunday. We all had such a great time. Friday we went to downtown Dallas for a little to eat and some antique shopping. Granna and Pappa got Gabby a new Posey Wagon. She seems to really like it. She can push is all over our big back yard. Brent and I went into the city "Atlanta" for a date night. We ate at a good restaurant called Two Urban Licks.
Saturday we all went to the pool and out for ice cream. Gabby can't have ice cream, but loves frozen yogurt. She had chocoate frozen yogurt for the first time. Later after we all took a nap we went to a local country cooking resaurant for a early dinner. When we returned home we did bubbles, sparklers and glow sticks. Bubble is Gabby's new favorite word. The glow sticks were a hit but the sparklers she didn't have much interest in.
To wrap the trip up we went to breakfast with Granna and Pappa at another local restuarant and gave them lots of kisses and hugs before they headed home. We will miss you Pappa and Granna.
